About Sarah
Hi, I'm Rosaria, though everyone calls me Sarah.
I'm a Registered Clinical Social Worker Intern providing virtual therapy to adults throughout Florida. My goal is to create a warm, compassionate space where you feel comfortable being yourself and where nothing you're carrying feels too big, too complicated, or too messy to bring into the room.
My Approach
I believe therapy works best when it feels like a genuine partnership.
Life has a way of shaping us in both visible and invisible ways. Sometimes we find ourselves carrying burdens we never chose, repeating patterns we don't fully understand, or feeling disconnected from parts of ourselves we once knew well. My role is to help you make sense of those experiences with curiosity, compassion, and care.
Together, we'll create space to slow down, listen more closely to what your life has been trying to tell you, and discover new ways of moving forward. As insight deepens, many people find a greater sense of clarity, self-trust, and connection - an opportunity to feel more at home within themselves, even when life remains imperfect.
You don't need to have everything figured out before beginning therapy. You simply need a place to begin.
My Background
I earned my Master of Social Work degree from Florida State University and have spent the past several years walking alongside individuals and families during some of life's most difficult, and often most transformative, moments.
My work has taken me into a variety of settings, from an unhoused youth shelter and community mental health programs to crisis intervention and hospice care. Across each of these experiences, I've had the privilege of witnessing the resilience people carry, even in the midst of grief, uncertainty, overwhelming stress, and profound change.
Those experiences continue to shape the way I show up as a therapist. They have taught me the importance of listening deeply, approaching each person with genuine curiosity, and honoring the unique story that brought them to this point in their lives. I believe every person's story deserves to be heard before it can be understood.
Who I Work With
I enjoy working with adults who feel overwhelmed by life’s demands, disconnected from themselves, or unsure of how to move forward.
Many of my clients have spent so much time caring for others, meeting expectations, or simply getting through each day that they've lost touch with their own needs along the way. Others are navigating anxiety, burnout, grief, relationship challenges, major life transitions, or seasons of uncertainty that leave them feeling stretched thin and emotionally exhausted.
I believe healing happens when people feel safe enough to be fully seen. My goal is to create a space where you can bring all parts of yourself without fear of judgment or the need to explain away who you are. As an LGBTQIA+-affirming therapist, I am committed to providing a welcoming, inclusive environment where your experiences, identity, and story are honored.
Outside of Therapy
When I'm not working, you'll usually find me spending time with my wife and our 2 kids, checking out that new restaurant that’s all over Instagram, or convincing myself that my next DIY Pinterest project will definitely take less time than the last one.
I enjoy the simple things: good food, good conversation, being outdoors, and the kind of unhurried moments that are easy to overlook when life gets busy. I'm also someone who genuinely loves learning, whether that's picking up a new skill, diving into a podcast, or going down a rabbit hole on a random topic.
At the end of the day, I value authenticity, curiosity, and connection. Those are the things that help me feel most like myself, both in my personal life and in the relationships that matter most to me.
Let's Get Started.
Starting therapy can feel vulnerable, especially if you've spent a long time taking care of everyone else.
You deserve a space where you don't have to have all the answers, where you can slow down, feel heard, and focus on your own well-being.
If you're ready to take the next step, I'd be honored to support you.
